Four Clovis teens charged with murder in reported gun deal gone bad

Four teenagers are facing murder charges after an attempted robbery ended with three people being shot in the parking lot of a Clovis shopping center Wednesday afternoon.
Marcos Ramirez, 26, was found by first responders lying in the street with multiple gunshot wounds outside of a day care in the 2200 block of Mitchell Street in Clovis, the Clovis Police Department said in a news release. Ramirez was taken to Plains Medical Center, where he died.
Gustavo Herrera, 15, and Jacob Lavato, Jacob Garcia and Diego Corona, all 16, have been charged with murder, kidnapping and conspiracy to commit robbery in connection with the incident, according to the release. Garcia and Corona were also shot and, according to the , one of them was severely injured by a bullet to the neck.
The Eastern New Mexico 近距离内射合集 reported that the boy shot in the neck is in 鈥渃ritical but stable condition鈥� after emergency surgery.
Clovis Police arrested Lavato, Garcia and Hererra. Corona has yet to be arrested, though police have issued a warrant for his arrest.

Ramirez allegedly met up with the boys alongside another unidentified man to sell them a gun, the 近距离内射合集 reported. One of the boys then shot Ramirez and pushed him out of the back seat, the newspaper said. The other man allegedly returned fire, striking one boy in the neck and another in the arm.
