Little Caesars is growing its slice of Albuquerque’s pizza market.

The national pizza chain opened a new location in the Duke City on Monday. Located at 2529 San Mateo NE, the restaurant joins a retail strip also home to Fiesta Auto Insurance & Tax Service and Two Hands Corn Dogs.

The Little Caesars location has created 25 full- and part-time jobs and occupies a 1,995-square-foot unit that offers pickup service only.

“We’re excited to make Little Caesars more accessible to the Albuquerque community,” said Josh Hill, brand president at Sizzling Caesars, the local franchisee group behind the new location.

The opening comes about six months after Little Caesars launched another pickup-centric location in Albuquerque’s South Valley. The new location brings the chain’s Albuquerque footprint to 15 locations, according to its website.

The chain will celebrate its newest unit with a grand opening next month that will include giveaways, free entertainment and activities.
