In New Mexico, the average it takes to sell your home is 55 days 鈥� which ties the state in fourth with Florida 鈥� on the list of median days on the market, according to a news release.
The top 10 states ranked from longest median house sale price to shortest are:
1. Hawaii 鈥� 65 days
2. Louisiana 鈥� 60 days
3. Mississippi 鈥� 58 days
4. New Mexico 鈥� 55 days
4. Florida 鈥� 55 days
5. New York 鈥� 54 days
6. North Dakota 鈥� 52 days
6. Arkansas 鈥� 52 days
7. Montana 鈥� 51 days
8. Alabama 鈥� 50 days
9. Oklahoma 鈥� 49 days
10. Iowa 鈥� 49
10. Kansas 鈥� 47
10. West Virginia 鈥� 47
10. Utah 鈥� 47
And New Hampshire rounded out the list, with houses on the market for only 23 days average before being sold, the release said.
