County hosting youth services rapid-hire event Saturday
Bernalillo County's Youth Services Center is hosting a rapid-hire job fair, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at the Juvenile Detention Center, located at 5100 Second Street NW, according to a news release.
The event aims to fill positions such as a youth program officer, who works to maintain security, order, and discipline, as well as prevent disturbances, escapes and ensures the safety of residence staff and community, the release stated.
"Providing a safe and secure environment for the youth at Bernalillo County鈥檚 Youth Services Center is our commitment,鈥� says Youth Services Center Director Michael Ferstl, in a statement. "We鈥檙e looking for compassionate adults who will continue to contribute to that."
The release added benefits include medical insurance, paid time off, retirement and a sign-on incentive of $5,000 upon successful completion of a 9-month probationary period.
Attendees should bring their r茅sum茅 to the event.
