The pair performed in Taos in 2023 and are returning.
According to Jamie Lenfestey, Lensic360 director, he wanted to bring the artists back.
鈥淩obert loves New Mexico and wanted to come back and do this show specifically at the opera,鈥 he says in a statement. 鈥淪o it鈥檚 going to be pretty special.鈥
Opening will be JD McPherson.
In 2007, Plant and Krauss released 鈥淩aising Sand,鈥 which was an unlikely, mesmerizing pairing of one of rock鈥檚 greatest frontmen with one of country music鈥檚 finest and most honored artists.
It was produced by the legendary T Bone Burnett and won six Grammy Awards, including both Album and Record of the Year.
After 14 years, the two icons reunited with 鈥淩aise the Roof,鈥 which garnered three Grammy nominations.
With 鈥淩aise the Roof,鈥 Plant and Krauss were determined not to simply replicate a formula.
鈥淲e wanted it to move,鈥 says Krauss. 鈥淲e brought other people in, other personalities within the band and coming back together again in the studio brought a new intimacy to the harmonies.鈥
The duo鈥檚 intention had always been to continue the momentum of鈥 Raising Sand.鈥
鈥淭here was so much enthusiasm, excitement and adrenaline that it would have been folly if we didn鈥檛 keep going,鈥 says Plant. 鈥淲e did join up and consider songs, try to work out some ideas, but then somebody would ask if I鈥檇 want to take my band to the Arctic Circle 鈥 鈥極K, I鈥檒l do that, call you back, Alison!鈥 And then she goes off and gets another Grammy. We鈥檝e both constantly made new recordings.鈥
