Zya had a great day on the water and caught his limit of trout on the Pecos River in 15 minutes.

Dominic Martinez took his 90-year-old dad for a day on the water at Canjilon Lake. They caught lots of smaller trout and this 22-inch rainbow.

Robert Resendez caught a few big blue catfish using cut bait at Caballo Lake on May 2.

Amiah Valdez, 13, caught a largemouth using a white fluke bait at Brantley Lake.

The most recent report for Charette Lakes was received April 23. Fishing for trout was fair to good using Garlic PowerBait and slow to fair using dough bait.

Fishing conditions have been adversely affected at Bear Canyon Lake in the aftermath of the Trout Fire.

Fishing for catfish at Bill Evans Lake was fair to good using Orange PowerBait.

Fishing for catfish at Caballo Lake was good using cut bait.

The most recent report for Elephant Butte Lake was received April 23. At that time, fishing for largemouth bass was good using grubs. The South Monticello boat ramp is currently closed due to low water levels. The closure will be lifted when water levels rise and conditions allow.
