Ken Salazar, a former U.S. ambassador to Mexico, will discuss and sign copies of his new book 鈥淏orderlands: My Fight for an Inclusive America鈥� at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 2, at Collected Works.
Salazar says his book is a clarion call for a different way forward, one that unites, not divides, the people of North America.
He also served as Secretary of the Interior and a U.S. senator from Colorado.
Salazar grew up in southern Colorado鈥檚 San Luis Valley.
He will be in conversation with Javier Mart铆nez, Speaker of the New Mexico House of Representatives, at Collected Works.
Collected Works is located at 202 Galisteo St. in Santa Fe.

Author Brian D. Hinson of Mountainair is in conversation with Lauren C. Teffeau about Hinson鈥檚 new book 鈥淪kies of Fire and Smoke鈥� at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 6.
The book is described as an alternate historical fantasy about brutal warfare and savage aerial battles.

Harold Finkelstein, a longtime art dealer, trader and collector, will sign copies of his book 鈥淩eleasing the Spirit: The Art of Zu帽i Fetish Carving.鈥�
He will sign at Perry Null Trading, 1710 S. Second St., Gallup from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7, and Saturday, Aug. 8; and at Malouf on the Plaza, 61 Old Santa Fe Trail, Santa Fe, from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. during the Santa Fe Indian Market on Friday, Aug. 14, and Saturday, Aug. 15.
Finkelstein lives near Capitan in Lincoln County.
