Oktoberfest and the Old West are coming aboard the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad with two special events.

The Oktoberfest Express will be a six-and-a-half-hour ride from Chama to the Osier Station in Colorado. Once at the station, guests will enjoy a German-inspired dinner. The 21 and over experience also includes a tasting flight of five beers and two additional drink tickets. The Oktoberfest-themed train departs Saturday, Sept. 12.

Cumbres & Toltec will ride back in time to the Old West with The Wagon Train. The eight-hour journey departs from Antonito, Colorado, and travels to Osier Station. Throughout the ride, Fred Hargrove, a singer-songwriter and cowboy poet, will perform live. During the Osier Station stop, riders will enjoy a Western dinner. The excursion is limited to riders aged 21 and over.
