APD arrests suspect in connection with fatal stabbing
A man was arrested by Albuquerque police overnight Saturday in connection with a fatal stabbing of a 72-year-old man at a Southeast Albuquerque apartment complex, police announced Sunday.
Aidan Gregg-Kriegel, 22, was chaged with an open count of murder in connection with a death reported early Saturday morning at the complex, on the 900 block of Louisiana.
Police were called to the complex around 7:20 a.m. after the victim, who wasn鈥檛 identified, was found killed in an apparent stabbing.
Police said in a news release that Gregg-Kriegel had been involved in several disputes with his neighbors in recent weeks and had been charged with misdemeanor battery.
It was unclear from court records if he had an attorney.
