Man dies after being shot near Northeast Albuquerque apartment
Police: Detectives are investigating the incident

The Albuquerque Police Department is investigating the fatal shooting of a man in Northeast Albuquerque on Wednesday.
Police did not release the man鈥檚 identity.
At about 3:30 a.m., officers responded to a shooting at an apartment in the 8100 block of Marquette NE, near Wyoming, APD spokesperson Gilbert Gallegos said in a news release.
When they arrived, they found a man with a gunshot wound. He was taken to a local hospital where he died, Gallegos said.
鈥淗omicide detectives are investigating the shooting,鈥� he said.
