Two die at Ute Lake over the weekend

LOGAN 鈥 Two people died at Ute Lake over the weekend, officials said.

The deaths were unrelated, Quay County Sheriff Dennis Garcia told The Eastern New Mexico 近距离内射合集.

The first death occurred on July 4, Garcia said. That body had not been recovered as of 1 p.m. Monday.

A second death occurred Sunday night.

"On July 5, at approximately 10:30 p.m., New Mexico State Police were called to Ute Lake following reports of a drowning. Initial information indicated that an adult male had fallen from a boat," Officer Wilson Silver said in an email.

That man's body was recovered early Monday morning, Silver said.

Officials did not immediately release the names of the deceased. Garcia said State Police are the lead investigators.
