TAX ON SOCIAL SECURITY for all recipients should be at the top of the list for removal. New Mexico should join the 42 states that do not impose this tax on their senior citizens. MW

I would not even consider casting a vote for DEB HAALAND until she has a live debate with Gregg Hull. She can't continue to talk to people through her spokespeople. She owes the voters that much. LR
When I read that MAYOR HULL wants to do for New Mexico what he did for Rio Rancho, my first thought was, "Oh my God, no!" I am an independent, I lean conservative, but I will vote for Deb before I let that happen. AVP
DEB HAALAND is obviously trying to connect with our state鈥檚 lower-middle class when she relays that she was a single mother, was arrested for DUI and overcame alcohol abuse. OK, but how does this qualify her to be our next governor? Vote Gregg Hull! RF
Rep. Gabe Vasquez is barking up the wrong tree. The reversal of Roe v. Wade only gave states the right to control ABORTION. With N.M. performing the highest number of abortions in the nation per capita, he doesn't have to be concerned about that possibility here. Women's healthcare is fully protected here. GH

We could use more STREET LIGHTS on Unser from roughly Montano to Ladera. Some areas are very dark at night, to the point of presenting safety concerns. I know there are probably higher priorities right now, but maybe the state could spare a few million for the growing West Side. MY
I've learned that more than one city SENIOR CENTER GYM does not have functioning air conditioning. It's the heat of summer, if the city wasn't aware. Do city officials think we're in the European Union? Why can't they make simple repairs to infrastructure for one of its vulnerable populations? AN
Was anyone else sickened when reading of cuts to SENIOR MEALS like I was? Yet we still provide free bus service to the homeless. Something is very wrong with this. SG
To those seniors griping about increased BREAKFAST MEAL PRICES, get a grip. Make yourself oatmeal at home if that's your biggest complaint, then enjoy free coffee at your local senior center. Soon after, enjoy a free lunch at the center. What if our kids behaved this way? Give thanks. CJW
