Too many people cry about Reddit or MSN censoring FREE SPEECH. Once again, nobody is entitled to free speech on private property. It鈥檚 like Topgolf; open to public but limited by rules. BC
Ms. Haaland: Want safe communities? Then support arresting and deporting illegal immigrants who have terrorized us, in addition to their already having violated our laws by entering unlawfully. SANCTUARY STATES, not ICE, endanger American families. RJB
Can the city at least enforce the law when it comes to OVERGROWN SHRUBS and weeds at street corners? People are having to pull halfway out into the road (with oncoming traffic) just to see if the coast is clear. CH

This year, TRUMP has hosted fights in his backyard, got an airport named after himself, his likeness added to money, his name added to the Kennedy Center and now there is talk of naming an aircraft carrier after him instead of a World War II hero. When will this end? BV

It鈥檚 deeply frustrating to watch Americans bear the consequences of TRUMP鈥橲 TARIFF POLICIES while his constant need for attention and political posturing takes center stage. ABQ LANDMARKS COMMISSION lacks common sense. A 20,000-square-foot building in Old Town that should be generating income has sat empty for six years? And a new door gets nixed for people who don鈥檛 own the building. Antibusiness practices are alive and well in New Mexico. RB
Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts is responsible for more damage to our country by ruling that corporations are people and can contribute to political parties, which led to the SUPER PACS. Super PACs have bought the Congress and are allowing for-profit private prisons. EN
Regarding 鈥淥PINION: The day Elephant Butte went dry should be the day NM changed forever鈥� (Aug. 23 Sunday Journal): To amplify upon Jeff Apodaca's Sunday op-ed, recently, upon flying out of Albuquerque and looking down upon the dry RIO GRANDE and our parched landscape, my very thought was that we should be building desalinization plants and not AI data centers 鈥� a way better use of our energy resources. If Trump's new sanctions against IRAN are an economic D-Day that will force Iran to capitulate. Why didn't he do this instead of starting a war costing billions of dollars, depleting our munitions, putting aircraft carriers into dry dock and spilling the blood of U.S. service members? AF
TIM KELLER promises three more years of blah, blah, blah, to restore "the broadest sense of public safety." Forget "broad." We want specifics that punish crime and restore order. Your message should be: "Don't come to ABQ expecting to live permanently on our streets, sell drugs or steal property." CA
I'm glad to see PROJECT JUPITER getting some pushback. With their ad blitz and other actions, they're trying way too hard to win us over. It's like a high profile political race instead of a legitimate project thatwould benefit New Mexico. Something smells in Santa Teresa. MY
I was appalled to see that PROJECT JUPITER is planning to use methane for their fuel cell system and an 鈥渆stimated 8.8 to 10 million tons of greenhouse gases annually鈥� could be emitted into the air. So much for our environment and the health of New Mexico citizens. JH
It would be great if HAALAND would move more to the center and take on "blue dog" policies in partnership with the conservatives. But most likely not, since a great deal of her campaign financing is dark money, coming from various far left groups from all over the nation. GH
