LSU freshman Bella Hines, one of the most decorated high school players in New Mexico history, is entering the transfer portal, according to her social media.

Hines thanked her LSU teammates and coaches, as well as the program's fans, in an . 

A 5-foot-10 guard, Hines averaged 4.2 points, 2.2 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 33 games coming off the bench for the Tigers, who ended the season ranked No. 8 in the Associated Press Top 25 poll.

Hines attended Eldorado High for three seasons and was named New Mexico’s top player her sophomore and junior years. She played her senior season at ABC Prep in Albuquerque and was a top-30 recruit coming out of high school.
