1. La Cueva at 近距离内射合集 Vista, Nusenda Community Stadium, 7 p.m. Friday

Can鈥檛 go wrong with making this the top selection in week 3, as we have the second-ranked Bears taking on the fourth-ranked Hawks. It鈥檚 still early, but we鈥檒l gain a bit more insight on the Class 6A hierarchy after this matchup.

2. Artesia at Centennial, Field of Dreams, 7 p.m. Thursday

Both teams started slowly, but nevertheless this ought to be a sensational game at the FOD, with the Bulldogs trying to take down the 6A Hawks.

3. Silver at Gadsden, 7 p.m. Friday

This is, I would say, the most under-the-radar great game of Week 3, with the Colts 鈥 a strong 3A program 鈥 visiting the 5A Panthers. Don鈥檛 let the two-class difference fool you, this shapes up as an awfully attractive showdown in Anthony. We already know that Silver鈥檚 defense can travel, let鈥檚 see how it stacks up against Gadsden.

4. Rio Rancho at Roswell, Wool Bowl, 7 p.m. Friday

The Rams make a rare visit into the venerable Wool Bowl to face a Roswell offense that has been on fire the first two weeks. Terrific potential for a thriller here.

5. Robertson at St. Michael鈥檚, 1 p.m. Saturday

The Horsemen and Cardinals renew their heated rivalry in this, a district opener in Santa Fe. Robertson is perhaps not quite the powerhouse it has been in seasons past, but this remains one of New Mexico鈥檚 great rivalry games and you never know what you might get.
