Star athlete transfers to Sandia under new 近距离内射合集 rule
Atrisco Heritage standout Deon Session joins the Matadors, boosting both football and basketball rosters as New Mexico schools adapt to the new one-free-transfer rule.

With the new one free transfer rule an official part of 近距离内射合集 bylaw language, athletes already are shifting schools.
One of Atrisco Heritage鈥檚 most prominent athletes, Deon Session, has transferred to Sandia, and he is going to give Sandia a noticeable boost in both football and basketball.
Session, who will be a senior, caught eight touchdown passes for the Jaguars last season, and joins a Matadors football roster that is already filled with talented skill-position athletes.
In basketball, he averaged 13.5 points and 9.3 rebounds for Atrisco, and now joins an absolutely loaded Sandia group that was going to be among the strong Class 5A favorites even before Session transferred.
Cibola, meanwhile, has gained a potentially high-impact transfer in junior Elijah Banks, a 6-foot-5 football athlete from Carlsbad. He can play both quarterback and receiver. And he also played basketball for the Cavemen.
PERSONNEL UPDATES: Greg Villareal, formerly the volleyball coach (both girls and boys) at Sandia High, is the new athletic director at Albuquerque High. He replaces Chad Jones, who is returning to his athletic training roots, at Atrisco Heritage.
AHS also has a new head baseball coach after the retirement of Robert Padilla, who had nearly 20 combined years with the Bulldogs coaching softball and then baseball.
The new coach is Angel Martinez, who comes over to AHS from Rio Rancho, where he was a varsity assistant coach and hitting instructor.
Los Lunas has made a coaching change in boys basketball, with Lamar Morinia replacing Pablo Gabaldon, who resigned last month. At Rio Grande, Mark Portillos is the new head girls basketball coach, replacing Joseph Lopez, who resigned.
THIS AND THAT: Tony Trujillo of La Cueva has signed to compete in track and field at Division I Campbell University in North Carolina. He was a prominent jumper (high, triple, long) for the Bears last spring. 鈥� Former Los Lunas High boys basketball coach Travis Julian is now an assistant to Danny Brown at Sandia.
