June is Pride Month and in celebration, here is a list of five businesses that are LGBTQ+ owned in Albuquerque that you can support.
To compile this list, I sorted through pages of events on Google and Facebook in search of a variety of queer owned or LGBTQ+ safe spaces.
1)
Founded in 1983, Albuquerque Social Club is a members-only club devoted to providing a safe space for all people, regardless of identity. Memberships are $40 for a year. Week-long memberships are available for $5 for those interested in seeing what the club offers.
LOCATION: 4021 Central NE
HOURS: 6 p.m.- midnight, Tuesday and Wednesday, 4 p.m.-2 a.m. Thursday and Friday, 5 p.m.- 2 a.m. Saturday and Sunday from 3 p.m.-midnight

Snapdragon Tea is a queer-owned tea house that serves kolaches, breakfast burritos, salads and tea. The teahouse also has a three-course tea menu during the weekends, reservations are needed. In June, the teahouse will have a variety of pride-themed snacks and drinks available for purchase.
Sidewinders is a bar and grill that hosts a variety of LGBTQ+ events, including Drag Race Bingo Nights and drag show viewing parties. The bar and grill serves finger foods like cheesy fries and jalapeno poppers, sandwiches, and a full service bar. Sidewinders also serves non-alcoholic drinks with some including CBD.

Bow and Arrow is a locally-owned beer hall that serves craft beers. The beer hall has various food trucks outside of the brewery to serve snacks and food for hungry guests. There are private rooms that can be rented out for special occasions, too.

HOURS: 8:30 a.m.- 5 p.m. Monday-Friday

Dry Heat is a comedy club in Albuquerque that features curated shows. There are a variety of headliners and comedians waiting to make comedy fans laugh the night away.
