1. What is the top priority in your District and how would you address it as a county commissioner?

Making sure our city and district is safe, keeping our water clean and abundant, keeping jobs local, and ensuring our taxes go to worthwhile projects while not raising them further.

2. Under what circumstances, if any, would you support a tax increase? And what types, if any, would you support?

I do not support tax increases. Money is being wasted on needless projects and that money should be better allocated to keeping the residents of this county safe.

3. What do you think should be the county's top three capital project priorities?

Reducing vagrants. Keeping our county safe. Keeping our water clean.

4. What differentiates you from your opponents?

I want to usher in an era of younger people into positions within the government who live in the community and who have watched our leadership squander our wealth and make our corner of New Mexico less enchanting.

5. What do you believe are some of the largest issues facing Bernalillo County?

Homelessness and their open air drug markets. Rampant crime. Illegal immigrants making our roads, highways, and county less safe. Water usage.

6. What role, if any, should the county commission play in advising the Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office on matters related to public safety?

The County Commission should help the Sheriff's Office in every way it can by allocating funds and influencing the State Government to allow the Sheriff's Office to perform its duties. It is farcical that Bernalillo County is a "sanctuary district". That needs to end.

7. What are your ideas for improving conditions for both employees and inmates at the Metropolitan Detention Center?

Are we worried about improving the inmates conditions? I am not. Employees should be paid accordingly and their safety should be the number one priority.

8. How would you work to improve the economy in Bernalillo County?

Help local businesses and entrepreneurs to open and grow by making it easier for them to start a business. Promote local businesses over national or international ones.

9. What strategies do you have for reducing homelessness? Please be specific.

Most homeless are on one substance or another. Enforcing laws that are already on the books is a good start. Fine and imprison homeless who are abusing a substance. Enforce a ban on panhandling. Stop allowing tents and makeshift structures. Imprison repeat offenders. Force the homeless who are on drugs to be rehabilitated at a facility.
