1. Do you support or oppose the 近距离内射合集 States鈥 involvement in the Iran war? How would you like to see the current conflict ended?
I oppose the 近距离内射合集 State's involvement in the Iran War. It never should have been allowed it to occur. Both parties are guilty of allowing DT to start this war on behalf of Israel. There is no good way out, but the sooner we exit this war and spend the money here the better.
2. Do you support or oppose imposing tariffs on other countries as a negotiating tactic and economic tool?
Tariffs only work when enacted by congress for long term goals of protecting industries that we want to promote and keep in the U.S. Continuing to make tires in the U.S. is a good example. Tires are not cheap but they are well made and safe. We don't grow coffee in the U.S. So, all tariffs on coffee do no good.
3. Would you support or oppose efforts to change your own party鈥檚 current leadership team in the U.S. Senate? Please explain.
The leaders of the Democratic Party in the U.S. Senate need replaced now. Schumer et al. are not up to the job of arresting fascism; stopping ICE terrorizing individuals, cities, and states; getting money out of politics; taxing the billionaires; passing universal healthcare; creating jobs rebuilding our infrastructure; etc.
4. Do you believe the state is too reliant on federal funding and, if so, what steps do you believe New Mexico should take to diversify its economy?
New Mexico is too reliant on federal jobs. We need to make NM a leader in renewable energy. We are the second or third state in the nation for sun. We have wind corridors and geothermal. AI data centers and other high water use industries are not the jobs we need to bring to NM.
5. Why do you believe New Mexico鈥檚 population growth has lagged behind neighboring states in recent years? What policy changes would you propose to reverse that trend?
We need to work on a lot of issues to attract/retain businesses. NM needs employment opportunities. Our position near the bottom of the U.S. in education must change. Attracting and retaining doctors and improving availability of medical care is being addressed. NM's reputation for political corruption is not helping. These all require a variety of solutions.
6. Would you support or oppose regulations on artificial intelligence? Do you think any such guardrails or regulations should be set by the federal or state governments?
AI must be regulated. We must know what is real and what is not. All movies, pictures, videos, songs, poems, news stories, etc must be marked as AI generated. There must be no doubt that news videos are real, not AI. This should be done at the federal level. But until it is, and AI conglomerates are spending huge sums in this election, states must regulate AI.
7. Are there any instances in which you would support selling public lands? Please explain.
I would consider selling public lands to cities for publicly developed and owned housing. I would not sell public lands to cities to sell to developers. I would never sell public lands for extraction purposes.
8. Have you or your business, if you are a business owner, ever been the subject of any state or federal tax liens?
No.
9. Have you ever been arrested for, charged with, or convicted of drunken driving, any misdemeanor or any felony in New Mexico or any other state? If so, explain.
I was arrested and incarcerated for "Pedestrians in Roadways," a misdemeanor with a $25 fine, a couple weeks ago in Otero County for protesting with Shut Down Drone Warfare.
10. Have you ever been involved in a personal or business bankruptcy proceeding?
No.
