Man dies after crashing moped
A man died Sunday after crashing his moped near San Pablo and Zuni SE, according to police.
The man drove his moped south into the intersection against a red traffic signal at a high rate of speed and crashed into a westbound Honda sedan, according to an Albuquerque police news release.
The moped driver, who was not wearing a helmet, was ejected and taken to University of New Mexico, where he died.
