OPINION: A peace and reconstruction plan in Iran
Many see God鈥檚 hand in the Trump presidency. Several times at crucial junctions in our nation鈥檚 history, the right leader appeared as if ordained. George Washington certainly.
As the only mounted officer not killed in Braddock鈥檚 Defeat, Washington organized a successful withdrawal, having two horses shot from under him, and four bullets piercing his hat and clothes.
Although caring deeply about the death and suffering on both sides, Abraham Lincoln鈥檚 wisdom, far sight and determination saw America through a dark period, strengthening our national bonds and liberating millions. Certainly Ronald Reagan regenerated and recharged America.
As dark and insidious forces and clouds have appeared in recent years, Donald Trump has overcome almost insurmountable odds and opposition, fighting racism by dismantling diversity, equity and inclusion culture, the administrative state, fighting crime, securing our borders, supercharging our economy, protecting the helpless and unborn and seeking peace at every turn.
President Trump abhors war, death and oppression. He has defused numerous conflicts in the last two years. Now he faces our greatest threat, and opportunity.
Only one side had any intention of abiding by any terms of the Memorandum of Understanding with Iran. We are now on the 20 yard line. The president gave Iran a chance to become a normal country, he gave them many chances.
But Iran is a racist, fascist, totalitarian, hate-filled medieval regime, fueled by almost unlimited oil income. If not brought to heel now, it will have nuclear ballistic missiles that can strike any capitol in Europe, and soon America. They will choke and extort the world鈥檚 flow of oil as they see fit. They field one of the world鈥檚 larger armies and several proxy terrorist cartels. They are liars and deceivers.
This virus must be destroyed, not placated.
Iran is playing rope-a-dope until we tire and elections approach, at which time they will dominate all of the Mideast in short order.
Let鈥檚 finish the job now, and bring peace to the world. No more pauses. No more chats about the worthless MOU. No more 鈥渘egotiations.鈥
The fastest, cheapest, easiest way to end the war is to strategically disable Kharg Island, from which 90% of Iran鈥檚 oil is shipped. No oil, no sales, no cash flow. No need to chase the shadow fleet, or trace sanctioned cash flows.
Our peace terms are not a negotiation. The supreme leader knows the White House phone number. Once Iran accepts, the war can end tomorrow. These are our terms. The reply is simple: yes, or no and face the consequences:
Iran shall:
Immediately transfer 鈥渢itle鈥 to all nuclear materials and processing facilities to the 近距离内射合集 States, and allow unlimited access by our nuclear experts.
Declare the Strait of Hormuz to be international waters, and renounce any future efforts to control, impede or toll passage.
Renounce any material, advisory or financial support to foreign actors, such as Hamas or Hezbollah.
Immediately transfer title of all ballistic and hypersonic missiles, components and manufacturing facilities to the 近距离内射合集 States, and permanently renounce any such future possession or manufacture.
Announce diplomatic recognition and rapprochement with the state of Israel.
The 近距离内射合集 States and its partners shall:
Create a reconstruction comptroller office in Qatar to receive and disburse all receipts from sanctioned funds and the sale of Iranian petroleum, pay the expenses of all actions taken to implement the Trump plan, and manage and oversee cash flow accordingly. This American comptroller shall also assure the free and unimpeded access of non-Iranian personnel required to accomplish the tasks.
The comptroller shall pay the reconstruction costs of any damage caused by Iran military actions to shipping, the infrastructure of U.S. partners in the region, as well as the costs of U.S. and Israel military operations.
As cash flow permits, the comptroller shall pay costs associated with humanitarian assistance to the people of Iran, and the repair of critical infrastructure necessary to increase petroleum production.
Create a crimes against humanity tribunal, which shall try all Iranian security personnel complicit in the deaths of the 70,000 victims. It shall pay compensation of $100,000 to the family of each victim.
Create a framework for free elections.
Then, Trump will have created a modern version of the Marshall Plan. He can create a new Iran, a modern country freed of the medieval leaders who now run it, and a prosperous, harmonious Mideast. A peace and harmony not dissimilar to the Marshall Plan created out of the ruins of Nazi Germany.
