Red or green?

New Mexico鈥檚 passion for fiery chile was on display Sunday during Red or Green Day at the Rail Yards Market. The event coincides with the beginning of the season of fire roasting chiles until they blister and char and their scent wafts throughout the state.

People filled the Rail Yards for a free ristra-making workshop using product from Mago鈥檚 Farms and to watch performances from Dominic Derrick Dance Theater. Two public art pieces were unveiled at the market. A mural by local artist Jade Cruz, 鈥淐oraz贸n del Chile,鈥� and a steel sculpture from the Sheet Metal Workers Union 49, The Lines that Connect Us 鈥� Tracks in Time.
