The Apple TV science fiction drama series 鈥淧luribus,鈥� by director Vince Gilligan, has been nominated for 18 Emmy Awards, the Television Academy announced Wednesday.

The series was filmed in several locations in New Mexico. Gilligan is well known for his shows 鈥淏reaking Bad鈥� and 鈥淏etter Call Saul,鈥� both of which were also filmed in the state. Filming locations for 鈥淧luribus鈥� included a temporary cul-de-sac built on the West Mesa and at the Coronado Center and Vernon鈥檚 Speakeasy.

The show follows Carol, played by Rhea Seehorn, in a post-apocalyptic world where a hive mind has taken over everyone. The nine-episode season premiered in November 2025.

HBO鈥檚 鈥淢iss You, Love You,鈥� which also filmed in New Mexico and stars Allison Janney and Andrew Rannells, was nominated for Outstanding Television Movie.
