It is obvious that Democrats are willing to criticize former President Biden鈥榮 DEA for allowing fentanyl into Albuquerque. REPUBLICANS will never criticize Trump on anything he is doing, including violating the Constitution. JH
Why did New Mexico Sen. Martin Heinrich's break with PLATNER come only after the July assault allegations? Previous allegations came out in late 2025 and early 2026. Why did Heinrich ignore those women? The timing only fuels the criticism that his moral clarity is reactive and convenient at best. NM deserves better. SV

George Mu帽oz on how to best share NM wealth with all citizens by virtue of a STATE INCOME TAX REDUCTION or elimination. Right on target. Beats a single $250 rebate that allows only instant gratification. Hope it happens. DC
The bulk of DEB HAALAND鈥橲 DONATIONS are large and funded by out-of-state interests. How much of NM resources, tax dollars and political favors does she owe non-New Mexicans? The majority of Gregg Hull鈥檚 donations come from NM citizens. Support your state, vote Hull. MM
TRUMP CRYPTO INVESTORS lost $3.8B while he made $636M. Typical Trump, make money by cheating others. Trump voters were also duped, but they let his chaos loose on all of us. We have all seen him cheat the country by squandering our treasure, and undermining our institutions and values. FS

Joe Biden was president. Deb Haaland was U.S. Interior secretary. And Alex Uballez was the U.S. attorney in New Mexico. Democrats, you are too soft on crime. Stop blaming Trump for this one. CG

WNBA fans voted CAITLIN CLARK the second best point guard in the league, the media voted her third and the players 11th. Surprisingly, the players did not vote her No. 1. Every time I pass Revel on Alexander and see real crowds, it鈥檚 obvious how badly DOWNTOWN has been run into the ground. Blocking Central and scrapping free parking drove people away; killing theater parking killed the theater. Government offices aren鈥檛 economic development 鈥� land a real private employer or admit failure. SR
Larry Ellison of Oracle is worth $192 billion, yet his company applied for a grant for employee start-up costs at the PROJECT JUPITER AI CENTER. New Mexico gave it to them. They want our land, energy, water and help with start-up costs. I'm calling digested cow fodder on that deal. AH
I think it's good that SPEED CAMERAS are working. Where are the cops? Have we replaced them with cameras? If 42% are paying fines what is being done? Are we ignoring that? What鈥檚 really needed in Albuquerque are two things; red light cameras and a police presence on Albuquerque roads. BO

The unrelenting attacks on NM PUBLIC SCHOOLS over educational outcomes is redundant and exasperating. Conservatives blame liberals and liberals blame conservatives in a never-ending cycle of political maneuvering to get the upper hand. Meanwhile, nothing ever changes while our kids sink deeper into despair and a dead-end future. RF
Oh, now state leaders passionate about saving lives after they found out about the DEA tactics regarding fentanyl. They have been nowhere to be found developing programs to prevent drug use 鈥� our state is among the worst for DRUG ABUSE. Elected officials get an F for their "efforts.鈥� NS
