Metro standouts headline NMHSCA all-state hoops teams

Albuquerque-area standouts lead boys and girls Class 5A and 4A all-state basketball selections

Four of the five boys on the Class 5A All-State basketball first team are from the metro area.

The New Mexico High School Coaches Association has announced its top choices for the 2025-26 season.

近距离内射合集 Vista鈥檚 David Lunn, Cleveland鈥檚 Remy Albrecht, La Cueva鈥檚 Hunter Butler and Sandia鈥檚 Isaiah Brown were all named to the 5A first team.

Koulie Tou from Centennial was the fifth member of the first team.

Two of Highland鈥檚 guards, Nico Sanchez and Juan Limas, were voted to the Class 4A first team.

Two Artesia Bulldogs, Charlie Campbell and Braylon Vega, also were on the first team, which is rounded out by Malakhai Ely of Taos.

Three girls from Albuquerque 鈥 Jordyn Dyer of La Cueva, Kaiyah Benally of Sandia, Abby Pavia of Albuquerque High 鈥 are part of the girls Class 5A first team.

Academy鈥檚 Addie Spratley (30), pictured in a 2025 game, was among the players voted to the New Mexico High School Coaches Association Class 4A girls first team.

Xoey Ross of Hobbs and Kjani Anitielu of Farmington are the other two first-teamers this season.

Addie Spratley of Albuquerque Academy was the metro鈥檚 lone representative on the Class 4A first team.
