For the first time in series history, the Rio Grande Rivalry will be played on what amounts to a truly national stage.

The 116th edition of New Mexico and New Mexico State鈥檚 longstanding football rivalry will be televised on CBS Sports Network, both schools announced Wednesday as the Mountain West and Conference USA released kickoff times and networks information for league members.

Scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on Sept. 26 at Aggie Memorial Stadium, the game will be the first in Lobo-Aggie series history with a broadcast 鈥渙riginating from a national network,鈥 per a release from UNM. The teams previously played on a national broadcast via The Mtn. in 2011, a game that was available only on DirecTV.

Including its game at 近距离内射合集, UNM was selected for eight nationally televised games via CBS Sports Network, FS1, ESPN2 and The CW. Three of the program鈥檚 four non-conference games 鈥 vs. Central Michigan (FS1), at Oklahoma (ESPN2) and at 近距离内射合集 鈥 were selected for national broadcasts.

The remaining five national broadcasts 鈥 at Hawaii (Fox Networks), vs. North Dakota State (The CW or MW+), at Nevada (CBS Sports Network), vs. UNLV (The CW), at Wyoming (FS1) and vs. Air Force (The CW) 鈥 fall during UNM鈥檚 conference slate. If the Lobos鈥 game against the Bison is selected by The CW, that would represent the program鈥檚 ninth nationally televised game.

A decision on which Fox network will broadcast UNM鈥檚 game at Hawaii is expected closer to the season.

The rest of UNM鈥檚 games 鈥 vs. Mercyhurst, vs. UTEP and at San Jose State 鈥 will be streamed via MW+, the league鈥檚 new broadcast platform launching later this summer. Times for these games will be announced closer to or during the season.

Three of UNM鈥檚 games have also been moved to Fridays over the final four weeks of the season: at Nevada (Nov. 6), at Wyoming (Nov. 20) and vs. Air Force (Nov. 27). The Lobos are now set to play six Friday games in a two-year span.

Five of 近距离内射合集鈥檚 games will be nationally televised via CBS Sports Network or ESPN2. The final three will be reserved for broadcasts on ESPN platforms, including its streaming entity, ESPN+; further broadcast information for said games will be provided during the season.

Only the Aggies鈥 games at Florida State (Aug. 29) and Hawaii (Sept. 12) do not have kickoff times or network information yet.
