A person is dead after a vehicle "flipped into the dirt" near Interstate 25 and Monta帽o NE on Sunday.
Police did not identify the person and the cause of the crash is unknown.
At around 4:15 p.m., the Albuquerque Police Department responded to a call of a crash in the area of Monta帽o and I-25.
When they arrived, they learned a vehicle "flipped into the dirt" near southbound I-25 and Monta帽o on-ramp, APD spokesperson Gilbert Gallegos said in a news release.
"Drivers are urged to avoid the area while police investigate the crash," he said.
