Woman wins 65-inch TV, recliner during Turkey Drop

Over 90 toy turkeys were dropped at Winrock Town Center as part of the 2nd annual KKOB Turkey Drop on Saturday.
The 96 toy turkeys landed over a market target zone in the parking lot on Saturday.
Brenda Maes won first prize when the toy turkey assigned to her came closest to the target. She won a recliner from American Home, a 65-inch TV and a $250 gift card to Albertsons, .
The event pays homage to the 鈥�, in which live birds were fictionally dropped from a helicopter outside a shopping center as part of a special turkey giveaway.

The turkey drop was not the only event KKOB was a part of.
On Thursday and Friday, KKOB participated with other Cumulus Media Albuquerque companies in a radiothon benefiting the Roadrunner Food Bank.
