Andrew Garcia caught his personal-best rainbow trout, 16 inches long, on the Red River using salmon eggs.
Jason Tuttle may have had a windy Father鈥檚 Day on the lake, but trolling with stick bait in 30 feet of water at Abiqui煤 Lake produced good walleye fishing.
Keith and Cole Rogers spent Father鈥檚 Day weekend fishing and camping in the Gila Waters. They caught Gila trout using flies and released 15-20 fish ranging from 3-14 inches at Whitewater Creek. They were lucky enough to double up in one deeper pool with these two beautiful Gila trout.
Jace and Jasper Pettes had an action-packed day at Bonito Lake. Despite hot, windy conditions and low expectations, they landed eight trout in two hours, including rainbow and brook trout.

Northeast fishing report
Streamflow on the Cimarron River near Cimarron on Tuesday morning was 23.6 cfs.
Fishing for walleye at Conchas Lake was fair to good using bottom bouncers.

Fishing for trout at Eagle Rock Lake was very good using peach Power Bait.
The most recent report for Fawn Lakes was received June 18. At that time, fishing for trout was fair to good using worms.
Fishing for trout at Hopewell Lake was very good using a combination of dry and nymph flies under an indicator.

Streamflow on the Pecos River near Pecos on Tuesday morning was 13.5 cfs. Fishing for trout was good to fair using salmon eggs, power bait and flies.
Fishing for trout on the Red River was very good using salmon eggs. Streamflow below the Red River Hatchery on Tuesday morning was 26.3 cfs.
Streamflow on the Rio Grande below the Taos Junction Bridge on Tuesday morning was 186 cfs.
Streamflow on the Rio Hondo near Valdez on Tuesday morning was 13.6 cfs.
Streamflow on the Rio Mora near Terrero on Tuesday morning was 2.36 cfs.
Streamflow on the Rio Pueblo near Pe帽asco on Tuesday morning was 3.51 cfs.
Fishing for trout at Rito la Presa was fair to good using mealworms.
The department received no reports for the following waterbodies over the past three weeks: Cabresto Lake, Charette Lake, Clayton Lake, Cowles Ponds, Coyote Creek, Gallinas River, Harris Pond, Lake Alice, Los Pinos River, Maxwell Lake 13, Morphy Lake, Red River City Ponds, Rio Costilla, Santa Cruz Reservoir, Shuree Ponds, Springer Lake, Storrie Lake, Stubblefield Lake and Ute Lake.
Northwest fishing report
Fishing for walleye at Abiqui煤 Lake was good using Rapala bait and trolling stick bait over 30 feet of water. Contact the Abiqui煤 Lake Main Office at 505-685-4371 for updated lake conditions and closure information.
Streamflow on the Animas River below Aztec on Wednesday morning was 174 cfs.

Fishing for northern pike at Cochiti Lake was slow using Bomber A bait.

Fishing for smallmouth bass at Navajo Lake was fair to good using Ned rigs, crankbaits and spinnerbaits. Fishing for northern pike was slow using deep-diving crankbaits.
Streamflow on the Rio Chama below El Vado Lake on Tuesday morning was 99.8 cfs; streamflow below Abiqui煤 Lake on Tuesday morning was 231 cfs. Please remember, from the river-crossing bridge on U.S. Highway 84 at Abiqui煤 upstream 7 miles to the base of Abiqui煤 Dam is special trout waters with a bag limit of only two trout.
Streamflow on the Rio Grande at Albuquerque on Wednesday morning was 0 cfs.
Streamflow on the San Juan River near Archuleta on Tuesday morning was 840 cfs. The most recent report was received on June 18. At that time, fishing for rainbow trout was very good using size-22 princess nymphs in the quality waters.
Fishing for trout at Seven Springs Kids鈥� Pond was very good using PowerBait or salmon eggs.
The most recent report for Tingley Beach was received June 11. At that time, fishing for channel catfish was good using homemade catfish bait on a light rod with a light spinning reel.
The department received no reports for the following waterbodies over the past three weeks: Albuquerque Area Drains, Brazos River, Lake Farmington, Liam Knight Pond, McGaffey Lake, Rio Cebolla, Riverside Park Pond (Aztec Pond #1), San Gregorio Lake, Trout Lakes and Tiger Park Reservoir.
Southwest fishing report
Fishing conditions at Bear Canyon Lake have been adversely affected in the aftermath of the Trout Fire.
Fishing for white bass at Caballo Lake was good to fair using green and orange trolling lures. Walleye remained slow to inactive. Water levels are changing across the lake; boaters should exercise caution in low-water areas.
The South Monticello boat ramp at Elephant Butte Lake is currently closed due to low water levels. The closure will be lifted when water levels rise and conditions allow. For more information, visit the Elephant Butte State Park page.
The most recent report for Escondida Lake was received June 11. At that time, fishing for catfish was good using worms and chicken liver.
Streamflow on the Gila River near Gila on Tuesday morning was 8.04 cfs.
Streamflow at the Gila Waters near Gila Hot Springs on Wednesday morning was 25 cfs.
The most recent report for Lake Roberts was received May 28. At that time, fishing for crappie was fair to good using lures.
Fishing for trout at Quemado Lake was good using worms, spinners and flies. Fishing for tiger muskie was also fair to good.
Fishing for carp on the Rio Grande was good using worms below Elephant Butte Dam and Caballo Lake. Streamflow below Elephant Butte Dam on Wednesday morning was 2,590 cfs.
Fishing for Gila trout at Whitewater Creek was fair to good using flies and produced 3-to-14-inch trout.
The department received no reports for the following waterbodies over the past three weeks: Bill Evans Lake, Glenwood Pond, Percha Dam, Rancho Grande Ponds, Trees Lake, Snow Lake and Young Pond.
Southeast fishing report
Fishing for trout at Alto Lake was very good using Kastmasters and worms.

Streamflow on the Black River at Malaga on Tuesday morning was 4.27 cfs.
Fishing for trout at Bonito Lake was very good using worms, corn, PowerBait or Taskmaster orange lures. Only fishing activities are permitted at Bonito Lake.

Streamflow on the Pecos River below Sumner Lake on Tuesday morning was 117 cfs.
Streamflow on the Rio Ruidoso at Hollywood on Wednesday morning was 3.53 cfs. Fishing conditions will be adversely affected for an extended period of time due to recent flooding in the area.
The most recent report for Santa Rosa Lake was received June 11. At that time, fishing for walleye was good using crawler harnesses, curly-tail grubs, jigs and flukes. Fishing for largemouth bass was good using crawler harnesses.
Fishing for catfish at Sumner Lake was slow using shrimp.
The department received no reports for the following waterbodies over the past three weeks: Bataan Lake, Blue Hole Park Pond, Bosque Redondo Lake, Bottomless Lakes, Brantley Lake, Carlsbad Municipal Lake, Chaparral Park Lake, Corona Pond, Dennis Chavez Pond, Estancia Park Lake, Eunice Lake, Green Meadow Lake, Greene Acres Lake, Harry McAdams Park Pond, Jal Lake, Lake Van, Ned Houk Ponds, Oasis Park Lake, Perch Lake, Rio Bonito, Rock Lake Hatchery Kids鈥� Pond and Spring River Pond.
