Armed man arrested after threatening confrontations in Ventana Ranch neighborhood

Authorities on Tuesday arrested a man accused of walking through a Northwest Albuquerque neighborhood with multiple weapons and threatening a resident.
Kenneth Bair, 60, is charged with one count of aggravated stalking, one count of harassment and one count of aggravated assault.
He does not yet have an attorney, according to a state court website.
Bernalillo County Sheriff鈥檚 Office deputies were notified after residents called and reported that a man 鈥� later identified as Bair 鈥� had been walking around Ventana Ranch with multiple weapons, according to a criminal complaint filed in Metropolitan Court.
Bair had been seen holding an AR rifle and a handgun in front of a home in the 10000 block of Toscana NW around 4 p.m. on Monday, the complaint states.
Deputies later learned that an Albuquerque police officer and a BCSO employee owned the home, though they were not home at the time of the first incident.
Video captured Bair stating, 鈥淕o ahead, come out here with your badge, you tyrant mother (expletive). Want to go after my wife and child, here I am,鈥� according to the complaint.
It is unclear what sparked the confrontation. No further details were included in the complaint.
Court records state that Bair鈥檚 most recent arrest prior to this incident was a domestic dispute between him and his girlfriend at a home in Curry County in June.
Bair returned twice to the home in Ventana Ranch, once around 5:30 p.m. and again two hours later, the complaint states. He appeared to be wearing a ballistic vest when he returned and he had changed his outfit 鈥渋ntentionally to draw out some type of confrontation.鈥�
鈥淲hat, you like to just beat people up and not at your own home,鈥� the man said, according to the complaint. 鈥淒irty pigs, man. I will take you out.鈥�
The residents were home when Bair returned, the complaint states.
Deputies spoke with the residents, who said they believed Bair had followed them home after they reviewed security footage. They told deputies that they were afraid of Bair and concerned with his pattern of behavior.
鈥淚nvestigators believe there may be additional victims or witnesses who have not yet reported their interactions with Bair,鈥� BCSO said.
