Blake鈥檚 Lotaburger on Eubank at Osuna offers quick service for a New Mexico favorite

If you are willing to wait, burritos can be special ordered at all Blake's Lotaburger locations.

When I see a Blake鈥檚 Lotaburger sign in New Mexico, I get a hankering for their breakfast burritos 鈥� especially with green chile. Too often I drive past the queue of cars, trucks and SUVs, thinking I don鈥檛 have enough time to wait in line.

But now in the morning, if you are near the Blake鈥檚 Lotaburger at Eubank Boulevard and Osuna Road NE, you can pop in and enjoy a grab-and-go burrito as quickly as the cash register can ring up your purchase.

Blake鈥檚 decided to create the grab-and-go experience at this location about six months ago due to the number of customers who wanted a quick breakfast pickup on the way to work at Sandia National Laboratories, Kirtland Air Force Base or Downtown, said Tiffany Bornmann, marketing manager for Blake鈥檚.

When I drove up just after sunrise on a recent Tuesday morning, at least five cars waited patiently in the drive-thru, showing the popularity of this location.

The volume of walk-ins at the store supported the quick-grab concept, Bornmann said. The grab-and-go warming box is replenished from opening at 6 a.m. until 11 a.m. The store follows food procedures to make sure the burritos in the box are fresh and delicious, Blake鈥檚 customer service said in an email. The burritos are Blake鈥檚 quality and will fill you and your co-workers鈥� bellies if you are happy with one of the six default options that come with two eggs, hash browns, cheese, and red or green chile. Meat options include bacon and sausage. 

For special orders like hold-the-cheese, you will have to use the Blake鈥檚 app and plan ahead, or wait for the staff to create a sizzling breakfast before your eyes like at all other locations, Bornmann said.

And don鈥檛 forget a drink with Blake鈥檚 ice 鈥� crushed, not cubed or stirred. I rarely get drinks with ice after reading the 近距离内射合集鈥檚 Business Outlook Red and Green report that often details slime in ice machines. But Blake鈥檚 ice is pristine like a mountain lake, so I quenched my thirst with an unsweetened ice tea.

The fresh flour tortillas, blend of hash browns, fresh cooked from the shell eggs, meat, and unique, slightly hot green chile with a lingering afterglow make this a satisfying and fast breakfast stop for busy commuters.
