Cookie Coley is a special New Mexico adventure dog. She sleeps in style in an awning room attached to Ken Coley鈥檚 Toyota FJ. The pair, who camped at the Fort Tuthill lot at Overland Expo in Flagstaff, are regulars at events of the Overland New Mexico Facebook group.
A highlight of their rig is an awning room attached to the FJ鈥檚 unique side doors. FJs have clamshell doors without a pillar between them. The front doors open forward like a normal car, while the back doors are smaller, rear-hinged doors that open toward the rear of the vehicle.
Coley has a 2012 base Toyota FJ, ARB front bumper, Smittybilt side steps, a Victory 4x4 roof rack, an Ironman 4x4 180-degree awning with an 8-by-6-foot awning room, and an Ironman 4x4 show suite. What is not currently mounted is a 5-gallon solar shower.
